Title: a question
Post by: jeff on October 22, 2006, 09:01:26 AM
does anybody know anywhere to check the fundamentals of canadian stocks? like the pe ratio, price to book, price sales, sales & revenue growth rates, dividend information, institutions/insider ownership...etc.

If we could check out the companies technically and fundamentally both combined before purchasing their stocks we would feel more sure and more confident.

thanks

jeff

Hello jeff,

You will find such information on the following sites:
  • StockHouse Canada (http://www.stockhouse.ca/comp_info_financials.asp?Symbol=RIM&table=list&view=financials&sh=is)
  • MSN Money (http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/invsub/ownership/ownership.asp?Symbol=CA%3aRIM). Data looks a lot like the first link but you will find there the instutitional owership too.

jeff,

You can give Yahoo a try.  I have hyperlinked "Bank of Nova Scotia" to give an example of what Yahoo has.  Once you are there, you can look around to see is available.   Good luck.
