Hi,bryanmcn,

In an old post dating 29 November 2007,
http://www.superstockpicker.com/forum/index.php?topic=400.0

you wrote:

For example; Lets say you have a total portfolio of $100,000 all in cash and want to start trading.

The post might be old, but the subject's interest always actual, for newbies like me at least.

As I told you in another board, I find this approach very interesting.
Just a question: one you have started trading for a while, which amount would you consider as your total portfolio? It has moved, since your started trading.

Do you use the present value or a fixed value, let's say the value at the beginning of the year?

Thanks,

L.

Always use present value.
